SIMSBURY, Conn. – Pingree’s first goal Sunday was an artistic passing display, a give-and-go followed by a pinpoint cross that Cat Watrous finished.
Hang it in the Louvre.
The second was comparatively scruffy, an overtime tuck-in of a free kick that couldn’t get cleared.
But, in the end, it was the real thing of beauty.
