The reigning NEPSAC Class B champion will not be able to defend its title in November.
South Kent, one of the premier prep powers in the region, has been deemed ineligible for this year’s postseason, due to a NEPSAC violation that occurred in the offseason. South Kent head coach Owen Finberg confirmed that decision that was handed down by the NEPSAC.
South Kent is, however, able to play its scheduled regular season and all games will count for the records of their opponents. The Cardinals earned a 3-1 win at The Hill School (Pottstown, Pa.) in a jamboree last Friday night.
