Francesca Yanchuk (North Attleboro, Mass.) is a firm believer in the old adage that hard work pays off.

Yanchuk, alongside Yankee United and St. Joseph (Conn.) High School standout Maddie Fried (Monroe, Conn.), is heading to Villanova next fall. Even still, the Class of 2021 standout was taken aback when the emailed invitation arrived last week.
