WINDSOR, Conn. – From afar, South Kent marched along a seemingly straightforward path to winning the NEPSAC Class B championship, the program’s first since 2016.
The Cardinals went 19-0, won all but three games by more than one goal and overwhelmed teams with their 3-6-1 formation. Their latest title, a 7-2 win over Nobles in mid-November on the campus of Loomis Chaffee, was seldom in doubt.
