The spring MLS NEXT season is well underway, with teams around New England getting several league matches in by mid-April.
Official standings are being kept this spring, building toward a summertime event at a to-be-announced location. At least from what we've heard, MLS NEXT is hoping for/planning on a capstone playoff/showcase event like the old Development Academy held.
In the meantime, here's an update on how things are going at the following five clubs: Beachside, Boston Bolts, Oakwood, Seacoast United and the Revolution Academy.
Like past stories, we've highlighted teams and players across the U-15 through U-19 age groups.
