Over 400 of the top youth teams from the United States and Canada are in Indio, Calif., for MLS NEXT Fest.
The seven-day event will feature over 600 matches at the Empire Polo Ground, beginning today and wrapping up on Dec. 8. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their talent for college, national team, and professional scouts and coaches.
New England-based MLS NEXT programs will be well-represented at the massive competition.
There will be six age groups competing -- U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18/19. Boston Bolts will be competing in every age group. Bayside FC will compete in U-13, U-14, U-16 and U-18/19. Beachside will compete in U-17 and U-18/19. Oakwood SC will compete in U-15, U-16 and U-18/19. Revolution Academy will compete in U-15, U-17 and U-18/19. Seacoast United will compete in U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18/19. Valeo FC will compete in U-13 and U-14.
