MLS: 5 players from New England standing out in the 2022 season

Believe it or not, the 2022 Major League Soccer (MLS) season is already two months old.

Here in New England, the Revolution certainly have not gotten off to the start they were hoping for after their record-breaking regular season in 2021, in which they captured their first Supporters' Shield. The Revs are currently sitting at 2-5-1 and at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table.

However, across the league, players from the New England region are providing worthy contributions on the pitch for their respective teams.

Here’s a look at five players who are enjoying a strong season thus far and have ties to New England.
