Aydin Jay (Boxford, Mass.) is bound for the Ivy League, as the Milton Academy and Seacoast United midfielder verbally committed to Yale over the weekend.
Jay is the Bulldogs’ first local commit for the Class of 2021, after they’re set to add U.S. youth international winger Andres Jasson (Greenwich, Conn.) and Beachside striker Olivier van Spaendonck (Westport, Conn.) this fall.
Yale checked all the recruiting boxes, Jay told New England Soccer Journal, in having high-end academics and high-end athletics.
