For college soccer players with aspirations of making it professionally, they simply desire a chance.
Seven players from New England will get exactly that Dec. 19-20 at the Midwest Pro Soccer Combine, an annual event held at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Mich.
Under one roof, the combine allows players to be seen by scouts and coaches from MLS, USL Championship, USL League One, NISA and international clubs. The event carries an even bigger spotlight this year, as MLS has done away with its normal combine before the SuperDraft gets held Jan. 9.
