Lilly Reale, a sophomore defender at national powerhouse UCLA and native of Hingham, Mass., has been named to the U.S. Under-20 Women’s Youth National Team.

Head coach Tracey Kevins selected the 20-player roster to represent the USA at the 2022 Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship, which will run from Feb. 25-March 12 in the Dominican Republic.

Reale is the only New England player that was selected to the roster. She started 19 matches during the 2021 season for UCLA, logging 1,683 minutes and tallying one goal and one assist. The Bruins finished the campaign at 16-1-3, with the only loss coming against UC Irvine in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
