Legowski a building block for upward-trending Northeastern

Whenever Northeastern University women’s soccer coach Ashley Phillips looks at junior midfielder Alexis Legowski (South Hadley, Mass.), she sees a humble and hardworking player who radiates “coachability.”

But Phillips also notices something else.

"I don’t think she sees a ceiling," Phillips said of Legowski. "She’s confident and believes in herself, but she also has a recognition that there’s probably always something that could be a little bit better, tweaked a little bit more."

The lack of a ceiling for Legowski is probably best illustrated by her progression with the Huskies.
