Lindsey LeBlanc (Westminster, Mass.) will become a Division 1 soccer player this fall.
The midfielder will be a sophomore at Le Moyne College, which will make the move from Division 2 to Division 1 beginning in the 2023-24 academic year. The Dolphins accepted an invitation to join the Northeast Conference, bringing the women’s soccer team and 20 other athletic programs up from D2.
The school, located in Syracuse, N.Y., has been competing in the Northeast-10 Conference at the Division 2 level.
