Over two months after Casey Brown (Natick, Mass.) departed Holy Cross to take over Penn, the Patriot League program has its latest head coach.
The Crusaders have hired Kyle Bak (Cumberland, R.I.), formerly the associate head coach at Providence College for six years, after making their first conference tournament appearance in 19 years.
In an interview with New England Soccer Journal, Bak highlighted how much he’s evolved while working under Friars’ head coach Sam Lopes (North Dartmouth, Mass.). Now, he’ll need that experience to continue the momentum Brown began.
