On Wednesday, all 16 boys soccer programs in the NEPSAC’s Independent School League headed to Progin Park in Lancaster, Mass., for the annual ISL Showcase.
On a beautiful late-September afternoon, the event featured eight matches, many of which were highly competitive.
Middlesex defeated Tabor Academy, 2-0. Nobles defeated Buckingham Browne & Nichols, 3-1. Milton Academy beat Thayer Academy, 5-0. St. Sebastian’s knocked off Rivers, 2-1. Brooks defeated St. Mark’s, 3-0. Groton and Belmont Hill ended in a 2-2 draw. Roxbury Latin and Lawrence Academy played to a 1-1 draw. And, St. George’s and Governor’s Academy ended in a 0-0 tie.
