Just a couple weeks after leading Brooks to a NEPSAC Class B championship, senior Harry Bertos has been named Defensive MVP of the Independent School League.
Bertos, a Washington commit, was joined as a top honoree in the league by Milton Academy junior Kaan Inanoglu, who was named Offensive MVP, after leading the ISL in scoring. Inanoglu helped the ISL champion Mustangs advance to the Class A championship game, where they fell to Worcester Academy in a penalty kick shootout.
In all, 26 players from the league’s 16 programs were recognized with All-ISL honors. Another 26 players garnered honorable mention recognition. Belmont Hill and Tabor Academy split the ISL Team Sportsmanship Award.
