The ACC announced Wednesday that soccer won’t begin until at least Sept. 1, narrowing the gameday possibilities for Boston College.
It’s the latest adjusted plan across Division I soccer in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Big East (split divisions) and Atlantic 10 (geographic pods) providing two other creative solutions.
The decision came one day after the Ivy League cancelled fall sports entirely as universities welcomed select portions of undergraduates back to campus.
