The college soccer recruiting world is at a near standstill through at least April 15 after an NCAA-mandated moratorium looks to help combat the domestic spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
In practice, this means coaches are banned from traveling to events and player visits, both official and unofficial, are also prohibited.
After talking with five college coaches around the region, all told New England Soccer Journal this form of social distancing sees health and safety supersede any competitive advantage.
