Looking to watch competitive college soccer – men’s or women’s – in New England this fall?
Your first chance arrives Thursday night when Boston College travels to face Notre Dame and then continues onto a road match Sunday at Louisville, their first two tests of a truncated ACC season amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Eagles, entering year No. 2 under head coach Jason Lowe, are the only NCAA program in the region still competing. That fact isn’t lost on Lowe or his players as they fly to Chicago on Wednesday, all without a normal preseason slate given the public-health situation. They’re also the only ACC program out of 13 yet to play this fall, though that’ll soon change.
