As a sophomore last year at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn., Max Jennings was a defensive back, slot receiver and kick returner on the varsity football team.
Now, Jennings is the latest player with New England roots to verbally commit to play soccer at Georgetown University after deciding late last week.
The Class of 2021 defender, who can play centrally or out wide, is cut from the multi-sport athlete cloth that seems to be fading from youth sports. He’ll even play on the Hotchkiss lacrosse team this spring.
