Henry Kessler, Tajon Buchanan gain vital international experience

With international experience secured, center back Henry Kessler and winger Tajon Buchanan are nearing their preseason debuts for the New England Revolution ahead of an April 17 opener at Chicago Fire FC.

The 22-year-olds, who both came through the SuperDraft as college soccer players, are back with the MLS side after competing for their countries during last month’s Concacaf Men’s Olympic Qualifying tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico.

While neither Kessler (United States) or Buchanan (Canada) advanced to the Tokyo Summer Olympics, they both impressed at the Under-23 regional tournament.
