Hartford coach John Natale: We can be much better

Two games. Two wins.

Through the prism of wins and losses, the season couldn’t have started any better for the University of Hartford women’s soccer team, which opened things up by beating Manhattan (2-1) and Merrimack (1-0) last week.

The coach’s eye, though, saw something else.

“The biggest thing right now is we really haven’t found our true form,” head coach John Natale (Wethersfield, Conn.) said. “I don’t want to say it’s been a struggle, but it’s a little disappointing. But we’re 2-0, so what can I say?”
