Hartford City FC rules North Atlantic, set for Baltimore clash

When the storm broke, Hartford City FC was poised to win the championship it had always wanted at the venue it had always wanted.

“It was a little serendipitous,” said coach Nick Balistierri (Glastonbury, Conn.).

It took three separate leads and some heady defending down the stretch, but Hartford City FC is champion of the NPSL’s North Atlantic Conference for the first time after outlasting Kingston Stockade FC, 3-2, at Dillon Stadium on Saturday night.
