During their expansion season in 2019, it took Hartford Athletic 14 USL Championship games to record back-to-back wins. But in the early goings of the 2020 campaign, New England’s only second-division club has achieved that feat through two matches.
Hartford kicked off its first season under head coach Radhi Jaidi last Friday with a 1-0 win at New York Red Bulls II, and then opened its Dillon Stadium slate Monday night with a 3-1 triumph over Loudoun United.
Both opponents are reserve sides for MLS teams, but the former Southampton U-23 manager likes what he sees as games return during the COVID-19 pandemic.
