Providence sophomore forward Brendan McSorley burst onto the Big East soccer scene in the 2021 season.
The 6-foot native of Randolph, N.J., tallied a team-high nine goals and 21 points for the Friars. He made 20 appearances (five starts) to help Providence to a final record of 12-5-4.
McSorley also got his first taste of the NCAA Tournament, as Providence earned an at-large bid and advanced to the third round, where it fell to Big East rival Georgetown.
We caught up with him last month to discuss his thoughts on the 2021 season and life at Providence.
