Hangin’ Out With … New England Revolution defender Brandon Bye

The jump from one's rookie to sophomore season in MLS can often be a big one, but New England Revolution outside back Brandon Bye navigated that challenge in 2019.

The Western Michigan product started 30 of the club's 34 regular-season games, and even supplied two goals and two assists. That steadiness arrived as the New England Revolution parted ways with Brad Friedel and brought in sporting director/head coach Bruce Arena.

Now, as the the offseason gets underway, Kyle McCarthy of New England Soccer Journal caught up with the 2018 MLS SuperDraft first-round pick.

They discussed his development as a player, off-field work, roots in the game in Michigan and more.
