The second girls Development Academy season is in the books, with three clubs from the region – NEFC, Oakwood and Seacoast United – competing.
That number will grow to four in 2019-20 with the introduction of South Shore Select and would have been five had FC Stars not left to go all-in on the Elite Clubs National League.
Amid the comings and goings, there’s plenty to dissect from the season that was, especially in a macro context.
