Exploring Boston College’s direction under head coach Jason Lowe

As New England’s only ACC program, and given its successes under former head coach Alison Foley, the Jason Lowe era at Boston College faces high expectations.

The second-year head coach, who joined in January 2019 after being the associate head coach at Wake Forest, recognizes how things are supposed to go – from a results perspective – in the regional hierarchy.

And since Division I coaches are most measured by wins and losses, pressure can ramp up if things turn south. There tends to be a longer leash in college athletics than professional sports, but the same standards apply.
