To say it’s been a great spring for FC Stars ECNL Girls teams would be an understatement.
The 2021-22 regular season wrapped up this past weekend, and several FC Stars sides are postseason-bound. They'll be headed to Redmond, Wash., just outside of Seattle, for the ECNL national playoffs later this month. The playoffs are slated to take place from June 22-29.
What’s even more impressive for FC Stars is that many of its teams will be competing in the top level of the ECNL playoffs, which is called Champions League. To qualify for the Champions League playoffs in the age groups of U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-17, a team must finish in the top three in their conference. At the U-18/19 level, a team must win its conference to qualify for the Champions League playoffs.
FC Stars, which field two teams -- FC Stars Blue and FC Stars White -- competes in the New England Conference.
