Mid-March is here, the snow has cleared once again, at least for now, and the spring season is about to accelerate for ECNL clubs throughout New England.
Teams across the region are slated to return to the field this weekend for action, as they gear up for a fast-paced two-plus-months of competition, leading into the ECNL playoffs in June. Teams from the U-13 to U-19 level will look to make significant progress in the weeks ahead.
"I think the goal for every team is making it into the playoffs, having successful national events, and doing well in your state cups," said Boston Bolts ECNL Director Sam Matteson.
That playoff push most certainly begins this month. In that spirit, we highlighted one team from each New England ECNL Boys club that could be poised to make some noise this spring.
