Eastern Connecticut State striker Patrick Agyemang leads nation in scoring

Over and over growing up, Patrick Agyemang (East Hartford, Conn.) some simple advice from his father, a former goalkeeper.

“He’d tell me, ‘Get your left foot as good as your right foot,’” said Agyemang. “He knows how dangerous that is to a goalkeeper and to a defender.”

Simply said, with two games left in the regular season, there has been no offensive player more dangerous than the 6-foot-4 Agyemang, a sophomore forward at Eastern Connecticut State. Through Tuesday, his 19 goals were the most of any player in Division 3.
