The 2017 Northeast-10 Tournament championship game featured second-seeded Southern New Hampshire and fourth-seeded Franklin Pierce. It was the first meeting in the title game for both programs, and it was the second matchup between the teams in 2017.
Like the regular season matchup, the Penmen defeated the Ravens, 2-1. Southern New Hampshire’s Miranda Peloquin (Greenville, R.I.) scored the first goal, and she also produced the second as a Franklin Pierce defender deflected a lob into her own goal.
Still, first-year head coach Jonathan Garbar was pleased with what the Ravens had accomplished to that point.
