Development Academy: Top local boys and girls goalscorers

Development Academy teams in New England are chalked full of quality players, but attention naturally gravitates towards the top goalscorers. That's just the nature of sports, especially in one as low-scoring as soccer.

Luckily, boys and girls DA teams from the region have some top forwards and attacking midfielders, both in a national context and in terms of college commitments.

The below seven players – highlighted from New England's boys and girls DA clubs – have found net early and often in 2018-19. All signs point to them leading the scoring charge as clubs build towards the winter showcases and, eventually, the national playoffs next summer.
