The New England Revolution have signed their fourth Homegrown Player in the last 22 months, as forward Damian Rivera (Cranston, R.I.) was announced Friday as the club’s latest first-team player.
Rivera, who turns 17 in early December, has been with New England's U-19 team this fall and scored eight goals in eight appearances.
It’s an especially busy week for Rivera, who is also set to join the United States U-17 national team in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. from Nov. 11-19 for a camp alongside. It will be Rivera’s first time in the USYNT set-up, all ahead of friendlies against Turkey, Holland and the U.S. U-16 national team.
