Over the past 15 months, New York City FC’s U-19 Development Academy team has stacked up the accomplishments.

In 2018, they won a DA national championship by beating fellow MLS club LA Galaxy. This past April, they finished second in Group A at the prestigious Dallas Cup, one spot behind Mexican club Tigres UANL. Last spring, some players were part of NYCFC’s U-17 team that beat Real Madrid in the Generation adidas Cup’s Champions Division.

Now, NYCFC’s U-19s will look to add another accomplishment to their already-long list at a national semifinal July 8 in Irvine, Calif. FC Dallas, Saint Louis FC and Sockers FC are the other semifinalists, with a champion crowned July 10.
