The Division 3 women’s soccer season came to an end on Saturday with Christopher Newport defeating The College of New Jersey, 2-0, for the national championship in Greensboro, N.C.
For numerous squads from New England, 2021 was a highly successful campaign. That’s especially true for Wesleyan University, which advanced all the way to the Final Four for the first time ever.
Across the region, teams had the opportunity to taste the postseason, and win some games in the process.
