Without hesitation, Connecticut College head coach Norm Riker (Block Island, R.I.) tosses some heavy praise toward senior forward Mya Johnson (Old Lyme, Conn.).
"There’s not another attacking player like her right now in the NESCAC," Riker said. "I feel she’s one of the most unique, fun-to-watch players in Division 3 soccer right now. That I feel strongly about."
Those assertions are supported by accolades, with Johnson earning First Team All-NESCAC and First Team All-Region honors as a junior. She led the Camels in scoring with 10 goals and three assists for 23 points, bringing them back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017, before a first-round exit to Geneseo State.
