While the COVID-19 pandemic has derailed college soccer over the last five months, the recruiting world ticks on despite serious interruptions.

That’s certainly the case in Division III, with showcases, camps and ID clinics largely on pause. There's also an indefinite on- and off-campus recruiting suspension at NESCAC schools.

To understand how the recruiting landscape has been altered and what could unfold, we connected with four D-III men’s coaches from across New England. Their 2020 seasons have been cancelled (or postponed) in recent weeks, so much of their focus shifts to recruiting.

What follows are insights from Eastern Connecticut State coach Greg DeVito, Johnson & Wales coach Dave Kulik, Western New England coach Devin O’Neill and Bowdoin coach Scott Wiercinski. As always, commit updates can be sent to commits@nesoccerjournal.com.
