At the Division 3 level, the transfer portal isn’t as widespread as at the Division 1 level. But it remains prevalent in the recruiting landscape, both in terms of outgoings and incomings.
We’re focusing on that latter group, i.e. those bringing experience and know-how to their new college soccer home. That doesn’t always translate -- settling in is easier said than done -- but transfers remain a key part of the process.
