The sophomore back helped the Owls to a 7-7-3 overall record last fall, including a fourth-place finish in the Northeast-10 Conference with a 5-4-3 league mark. "We started off strong, stayed close, and won a lot more," she said of the past season.
Ayer has appeared in 36 games over her first two NCAA seasons and has tallied two assists on the scoresheet, one per year, while concentrating on defense. More importantly, she’s been one of SCSU’s top players in terms of minutes played, ranking sixth this past season with 1,258 minutes.
