D1 Women’s: Early-season team rankings, players to watch for

Here in New England, the Division 1 women's schedule often gets underway before the school year begins, so odds are your favorite team is already in search of its second gear.

In lieu of that, New England Soccer Journal presents its first rankings of the 2017 season, with a focus on the region's top teams and players.

Much like last year, Northeastern and UConn are leading the charge, while a pair of out-of-region players – Remy Borinksy and Hannah Lopicollo – are a class above the rest early on.

Without further ado, let's get right into our inaugural Divison 1 women's rankings.
