The Division 1 women's soccer season is just a few weeks old, but some teams appear to be in midseason form already.
There’s plenty of soccer to be played, but a group of New England teams have stormed out of the gates in August and early-September. Some squads were expected to come out strong, while others have been pleasant surprises with their excellent play.
Leading the way thus far is Harvard (4-0), which is ranked No. 20 in the latest national Top 25, and is the only New England team in the poll.
