On Sunday night, Lilly Reale (Hingham, Mass.) and her mother decided to watch their favorite movie.
It’s a new release that came out last Monday, and it's not a holiday movie. In fact, this one stars Reale and her UCLA teammates and coaches.
If the clues haven’t given it away yet, it was UCLA’s 3-2 double-overtime victory over North Carolina to win the 2022 women’s Division 1 national championship on Dec. 5 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
"It leaves me speechless," said Reale, a sophomore center back for the Bruins. "My mom and I actually watched the game back (Sunday) night. She was, like, 'let’s watch our favorite movie.'"
