D1 Women: First, Second Best XIs announced

It’s time to celebrate the best of the best in New England soccer this year.

Below are our First XI and Second XI selections for Division 1 women’s soccer in 2018. Boston College leads the way with four nominees, while Hartford, Central Connecticut and Providence have three members each. Northeastern and UMass both notched a pair.

In total, nearly a dozen different schools are represented. They take into account both individual performance and team success from this past fall.

Expanded upon below, both teams are arranged in a 3-4-3 formation.
