D1 Women: Best XI of locals playing outside of New England in 2019

With the 2019 college soccer season officially over, our year-end series continues with a look beyond New England.

While it was a memorable season as Brown and Central Connecticut State advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament, many of the region's top players were on teams beyond the six states we call home.

Mindful of that trend, we’ve highlighted a Best XI of locals who played outside of New England in 2019. The group is organized in a 4-3-3 formation, with players qualifying by having New England hometowns.
