D1 Women: Mix of youngsters, veterans lead Midseason Best XI

In the blink of an eye, we’ve reached the midway point of the Division 1 women’s season.

With September coming to a close, the top players in the region are becoming clear. That’s why New England Soccer Journal has revealed its Midseason Best XI. Seven different schools are represented, with Boston College leading the way with three selections.

In keeping up with last week’s results, the Eagles were dealt their first loss of the year, Northeastern gets back to its winning ways and Central Connecticut makes an appearance in our Top 10 rankings.

Let’s get right into our 11 best players in New England before this week’s Top 10.
