With the 2021 college soccer season in the rearview mirror, we're shining the spotlight on freshmen who made the most of their opportunity.
We've opted for a Best XI format and arranged the group in a 4-3-3 formation, with 10 different programs represented. Four of the players have New England hometowns.
Now, plenty more had strong seasons across the region's Division 1 men's scene. But in terms of impact, and when considering story structure, these standouts shined brightest.
