University of New Hampshire midfielder/back Adam Savill has been named the 2021-22 America East Man of the Year.
The award recognizes the conference's male student-athlete who has best distinguished himself throughout his collegiate career in the areas of academic achievement, athletic excellence, service and leadership.
Savill, who earned his graduate degree at UNH and was a member of the nationally ranked men’s soccer team, is the first UNH student-athlete to ever win Man of the Year. America East began honoring a Woman of the Year in 2006 and introduced the Man of the Year in 2015.
