The final unbeaten team in New England fell last week in Division 1 men's soccer, leaving four programs with six victories each.
Rhode Island, which had not allowed a goal all season, lost in double-overtime to in-state rival Brown, 1-0. The Bears broke the tie with just 58 seconds remaining with a game-winner from junior midfielder Matthew Chow.
Several clubs have also started to turn things around following slow stars, including Yale, Boston University and Quinnipiac. Yale won three times this week to surge above the .500 mark. Meanwhile, Boston University won its league opener over American on Saturday, and Quinnipiac knocked off Central Connecticut, giving both teams their second victories of the year.
