
If you needed any more evidence that the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team is one of the most-respected programs in the nation, it was provided on Thursday.
Four UNH players are part of the United Soccer Coaches’ men's 2022 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, which was announced on Thursday. In total, there are 38 Division 1 men’s players on the list.
Leading the way is New Hampshire junior midfielder Yannick Bright, the only 2021 Hermann semifinalist returning to play this fall. Nine players from New England programs are included on the Watch List.
The Hermann Trophy, presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club, is the nation’s highest individual honor, recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by the voting of Division 1 coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
