D1 Men: 25 locals to watch for outside of New England

As followers of New England soccer, it's often easy to have tunnel vision and focus on just teams in the region. They're the ones in our own backyard, after all.

But many of New England's best players – prep school products and local stars alike – head beyond our region's six states for their college soccer experience. The allure of the ACC, Big East, Big Ten and other conferences plays a big role in that.

So with the 2019 season just around the corner, New England Soccer Journal has highlighted 25 players with ties to the region who are bound to turn heads. We've also included a brief honorable mention section.

From freshmen to seniors, here are some top talents to watch for in the wide world of college soccer.
